The production of our sleeping bags

Since we first started producing sleeping bags 150 years ago, Ajungilak has come an extremely long way. On the one hand this is due in part to the close contact we have to extreme sportsmen and women, who help us to make progress with their feedback, ideas and stimulation. On the other hand we can let our own new-found knowledge flow directly into the products in our independent production workshop. This combination allows us to achieve our highest goal: to develop top sleeping bags for use in every place on Earth. The main development : the most important developments in the last 50 years took place in synthetic fibres and materials; both components have become much thinner, lighter and stronger. During the last ten years the technology for the binding of individual fibres (carding) has also come a very long way.
