| Fibres with teflon coating enhance the performance of selected ropes |
 |
| If a conventional rope is subjected to load, e.g. due to a fall, the fibres absorb the load through stretching. As a result, friction occurs between the fibers, and the load is unevenly distributed over the fibers, so that the theoretical performance potential is not fully used. The exclusive teflonized coating finish reduces friction between the rope fibres, so that the load is more evenly distributed, and the rope is lighter but stronger. |
