Backpacks	With a Mammut backpack you will be carrying high performance. Our backpacks combine hitech materials, practical function, maximum comfort and the greatest possible freedom of movement. All models have been designed for a particular purpose and have been tested under real-life conditions: from the all-round backpack for easy hikes to the high-performance Extreme range for the toughest expeditions.
Schoeller dynatec XTX	For the manufacture of Dynatec XTX fabric, Schoeller uses tear-proof, lightweight polyamide thread with Dynafil and Cordura yarns. This is why the fabric only weighs 335 g per square meter. Mammut uses extremely tough Dynatec XTX for the skeleton of the Extreme backpacks.
Cordura	DuPont’s Cordura is manufactured using an exclusive weaving process and extra strong, heat-treated polyamide threads. The resulting fabric is extremely resistant to wear and tear. Mammut uses Cordura wherever particularly strong fibres are required – for alpinism, traveling and trekking.
ET-Tragsystem	The Ergo-Tech carrying system is designed for traveling, trekking and hiking backpacks. You can easily and quickly adapt it to fit your own back length. Ideal for carrying heavy loads over long distances due to ergonomic padding at the back and load transfer to the hip belt via built-in aluminum rods.
SYE-Tragsystem	The Save Your Energy 3-way ventilation system considerably reduces perspiration. Provides free space between backpack and body, and thus a supply of fresh air from three sides. The cleverly used robust materials ensure a perfect fit on almost every back. The motto is: save your energy thanks to ergonomic design.
Roll-up fastening	A simple weatherproof fastening system that allows rapid access to the equipment inside the backpack is a “must”, particularly in winter. Compared with the roll-up fastening, the conventional top flap/drawstring system seems quite complicated. The roll-up fastening is simple to use: just close, roll up, click and click again.
